The "Westport/Yangzhou Sister City Site" was conceived by James Honeycutt, a computer teacher at Staples High School, over the summer of 1997. Upon the start of the current school year students were picked to put Mr. Honeycutt's ideas into action. The culmination of their efforts are what you see here. However, in addition to what you see at the present moment, many new features are being added daily, the most exciting of which is Todd Parker's journal. Parker, a history teacher from Staples High School, was invited to visit Yangzhou for 5 months to promote academic cooperation. In exchange, Westport invited two Yangzhou teachers to visit Staples High. Although Todd's journal is currently on-line, the Yangzhou teachers plan to start writing their journals soon. Also, a guestbook wil be available by Thanksgiving. We hope you enjoy your stay!!
