ExamsMany students are confused about how exam week works. This page was designed to address those questions. For most classes, your final exam will cover everything you have learned this semester, and possibly some concepts from first semester. If you have two classes that meet in the same period on different days, such as chorus and orchestra, you should ask your teachers where to go when for the exam period. Generally, you should report to the class that meets on that day, but your teachers will work it out. There is a special schedule for exam week. This spring, exams will begin on Thursday, June 10. Make-up exam day will be Wednesday, June 16. The last day of second semester classes will be Wednesday, June 9. All classes will meet that day. After the last day of exams, you only need to come to school for Arena Registration if you're a Freshman, Sophomore, or Junior, or for graduation activities if you're a Senior. Exam week consists of five days. The same basic schedule is used on the first four days: there are two exams each day, each two hours long, with a 30-minute break before each exam. During the breaks, you may go to the cafeteria, or study in the library (silent study, two people per table). First exam starts at 8:00am and ends at 10:00am, second exam starts at 10:30am and ends at 12:30pm. Students are dismissed at 12:30pm. Buses come at the normal time in the morning, and pick students up at 12:30pm after exams are done (they leave at 12:40pm). The fifth day of exam week is make-up exam day; you only have to come to school if you need to make up an exam (or in this case, if you have arena or graduation rehearsal). Below is the exam schedule. Please note that these schedules are also available to view and as printable handouts from the Staples Schedule part of this website, found in General Info. Exam Schedule:
