Computer Club

Our first meeting of the year will be on Friday, August 30 after school in room 963.

We meet every Friday after school in either room 963 or room 954. We manage the Staples website, http://www.stapleshigh.net, and plan projects to make the site better.

We are currently working on getting our sports teams using the Sportscasting System, getting clubs to use our Clubs system, a Flashcards system, and just maintaining the website in general. We are always looking for new ideas on how to improve the site, and for ideas on how to help the Staples community.

We use OpenBSD, a Unix based operating system, and the Apache web server to host our site. We use the PHP scripting language for most of our programming, and code all of our HTML ourselves.
